Two Scottish Off White Paisley Shawls Woven with Blue and Red Borders
{Approximate dimensions: 63 3/4" W. x 130" L, plus 2 1/2" fringe on each end.}.
Note: the design of these shawls copies earlier Kashmiri shawls made for Western markets in the Empire period, circa 1810 - 1820, for use in summer.
Condition
Minor holes, stress near creases, loose threads; dirt, wear.
