Four Derby and Chelsea Derby Porcelain Figures Emblematic of the Senses, including models in four sizes, of Sight, with mirror, Scent, seated with flower in hand, and Taste, seated, about to nibble from a grape cluster. Each painted in polychrome pastel hues, and with gold enamel. Patch marks to several, and scent with "smell" inicsed in script to base underside. Circa 1768 - 1775. {Approximate dimensions: 7 1/8" to 10 1/2" H., overall.}.
Condition
Crazing to the largest figure, flower absent in smaller figure of scent. three with hands off and reglued and /or restored sections.
