Poul Henningsen Artichoke Pendant in original crate, the medium size light fixtures, made with 72 leaves in copper, on six steel arches. In original crate, purchased 1972, and never installed. 

Poul Henningsen (Danish, 1894 - 1967). Koglen (Artichoke) pendant first designed in 1958.
{Approximate dimensions: 24" H. x 23" Diameter, not including the white cylinder holding the electric cord.}.

Very good condition, electric cord in original bag, fixture in original bag, and the plate also in original bag, in crate.

Originally purchased by a member of the architecture practice, Charles Griffen, Ames, Iowa. Moved to the Bay Area, still unused, in the 1980s, and offered in unused, uncrated, original condition.
