Four Spratling Silver Highball or Julep Cups with Booklet, the cups of tapering cylindrical form, modeled with circular pads for inscriptions, below rims, left blank. Together with an undated booklet describing Spratling's work.

Marked to underside with eagle mark with centered "63" and maker mark with centered WS under 925, with surrounding text of "WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO". The booklet accompanying the present lot includes a photograph of cups in this design.

Minor wear overall, including surface scratches, rubbing to undersides, patina. Slight asymmetry to shape of cups is evident from overhead view. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
