A large Japanese Kutani porcelain plate with a circular profile, the interior painted in iron-red and soft overglaze enamels depicting a dynamic figural scene in an open landscape, where a central robed figure releases a powerful gust or energy, illustrated as sweeping wind lines, while a miniature horse appears within the distance of the painted landscape, small in scale but deliberately included in the composition. The surrounding cavetto and rim are fully ornamented in brocade-style floral scrolls, geometric panels, and fine gilt accents that integrate across the surface. The reverse shows a smooth cream glaze with iron-red ribboned roundels and a rectangular Kutani seal mark at the center. {Approximate dimensions - diameter 14 1/4 inches}.
