Jean Prouve for Vitra Black Steel, Brown Leather Strap Cite Chair, black powder coated low slung, angular frame, with brown leather strap armrests and black canvas continuous seat and back. Paper label to underside, Vitra 2002. Made in Germany.

{Approximate dimensions: 33" H. x 26 3/4" W. x 37 1/2" D. Seat Height: 13 1/4".}. 

Jean Prouve (French, 1901-1984), first designed the Cite for the Cite Universitaire, in Nancy, France, in 1930.

Wear to upholstery, particularly in one upper corner. stains to armrests, particularly to right side. Minor surface wear, scratches, throughout.
