Italian Baroque Giltwood Putto. Modelled with arms half raised and forward, legs partly bent, and with wings emergent from back. Ribbon cross from left shoulder to mid back leg over loins. Traces of gilding throughout. Hole to crotch underside for pole support. {Approximate dimensions: 37" H. x 27" W. x 17" D.}. Condition: Left wing has two breaks toward center bottom, loose and present, not attached. Left arm off and loosely reattached. Ring finger of this hand absent. Index finger on left hand broken in two, fingernail absent; pinky finger off and present, both loosely reattached. Some wear, chips to gilding and extensive abrasion to surfaces, throughout. Inactive worm holes. Pole support absent.
