Indian Pala Type Stele. A carved stone stele depicting a standing multi-armed deity framed within an arched mandorla. The central figure stands on a raised lotus platform, flanked by attendant figures arranged in tiers on both sides. Additional small figures appear beneath the main deity. The background and borders are filled with scrolling foliate and decorative motifs. The reverse is roughly worked with horizontal chisel marks. Mounted on a wooden base. {Height 21 inches (53.5 cm) with stand}.
