Group of Five Japanese Imari Plates. Two plates show a mosaic of textile-inspired motifs layered diagonally over a blue crackled pattern field, Another plate carries a russet reserve with flying cranes across rippling blue water borders. The remaining two dishes depict floral medallions with stylized vines in underglaze blue, iron-red, and ocher enamels. {Approximate dimensions - largest diameter 10 inches}.
