(Lot of Two) Japanese Arita Blue and White Porcelain Charger and Plate. The lot includes a large charger decorated in underglaze blue with a sweeping floral composition featuring peony blooms and leafy branches arranged asymmetrically across the surface, framed by a narrow geometric border along the rim. The accompanying plate is painted with a central potted floral motif, encircled by sectional panels alternating between floral sprays and geometric patterns. {Approximate dimensions - largest diameter 17 inches}.
