French Brittany Inlaid Walnut Vaisselier, in two parts: the upper section with stepped crest over a carved and inlaid apron, over various shelves with guard rails, terminating in bracket base. Lower section with two short drawers with inlaid fronts, inlaid section between these, over cabinet doors, above carved apron, and two paw feet to front, with steel escutcheons and drawer pulls. Early 19th Century, with some replaced parts. {Approximate dimensions: 90" H. x 56 1/2" W. x 25" D.}.

Mellow color and patination throughout. Minor split to center front toward left shallow drawer; crown and apron probably associated, replaced and stained to match. Some old repairs, sagging to shelves, split to right bracket of upper section, surface wear, scratches, the escutcheons appear to be original, one now held in place with new screwset.
