Two English Staffordshire Transfer Printed Table Articles. An ironstone well and tree, printed with convolvulus and floral border, center Rebecca at the Well; and a Davenport pearlware large hot meat platter of rounded rectangular form with two handles to sides, printed with an exotic Asian scene. Impressed Davenport anchor to the latter. Circa 1830-1850.
Condition
Two inch long firing crack at 10 o clock, with related staining, and a 1" flake to rim at 8 o clock. Stains, crazing and wear to first. The second with minor crazing to glaze, and wear to underside. Minor surface wear and scratches.
