Paired Chelsea Derby Court Figures. A stylish female caressing a tabby cat on her lap; and a seated male with pug dog standing at attention, doing tricks. Each figural group modeled on a low mounded base. Painted in pastel hues but for the stripes on the cat, the bow in woman's and man's pony tails, the snout and paws of the dog, and the shoes and hat of the man.

Both incised 51 to undersides.

Female figure: Minor retouching to paint on her right pointer and pinky finger. Male figure: left hand section broken off, professionally glued back on and repainted, now partly visible, loss to part of object being held by thumb. To dog: Both front paws broken off and professionally glued back on, and repainted. Minor losses to flowers. Surface wear and scratches.
