Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Parcel Gilt Bow Front Chest of Drawers. Six drawers with inlaid trim and rococo style gilt metal pulls, the piece accented with parcel gilt accent to edges and gilt metal mounts, the top edge and base edge with relief carved foliate motifs. Possibly Italian. {Approximate dimensions: 39 1/4" high x 33 3/4" wide x 18 1/2" deep.}.
Condition
Some surface wear and patina throughout. Some repair and minor chip loss to veneer, mainly around drawer edges. Gilt with discoloration and rubbing. Gaps to seams. Moulding to base edge loose, piece available. Some wear to top with stains to finish, horizontal crack.
