Chinese Hardwood Armchair with Marble Inset. Of square-form construction with a shaped crest rail above a pierced and carved back splat centered by a circular marble panel. The arms of shaped outline, each fitted with an openwork side panel inset with marble. The seat fitted with a rectangular marble slab, raised on straight legs joined by stretchers. The hardwood frame extensively carved and inlaid with floral and foliate motifs in contrasting materials throughout. {Approximate dimensions: height 38 5/8 inches x width 24 3/4 inches x depth 19 1/8 inches}.
