Large Korean Bandaji Dresser Chest. Of rectangular form, constructed in hardwood with a warm honey-brown tone, the facade fitted with two stacked compartments, each with a pair of hinged doors. The surface extensively mounted with pierced and engraved brass fittings, including foliate plaques, corner brackets, strap hinges, and large circular lock plates. The upper section fitted with a row of small drawers with metal pulls. Raised on short bracket feet with metal-mounted corners. The interior compartments lined with patterned paper. {Approximate dimensions: height 56 inches x width 42 inches x depth 20 inches}.

The wood surfaces show expected surface wear, including minor scratches, scuffs, and areas of rubbing. Brass mounts display patination, oxidation, and wear, with some uneven coloration. Interior lining shows wear and discoloration.
