Ink and color on paper, inscribed “Ninth month of autumn, Jiazi year (1984), Zhao Shao’ang at Lingnan Art Studio in Hong Kong” (甲子秋九月，赵少昂于香岛岭南艺苑), bearing seals.

Depicting birds perched among flowering branches, rendered with lively brushwork and bright coloration, the composition characterized by fluid line, expressive ink modulation, and a sense of movement. The work reflects the Lingnan School’s synthesis of traditional Chinese painting with naturalistic observation, emphasizing vitality, color, and modern sensibility, consistent with Zhao Shao’ang’s mature style.
