Two Tibetan Painted Thangka Scrolls, 20th Century.

Comprising one thangka depicting a full-length anthropomorphic figure associated with tantric body symbolism, extensively inscribed and painted with multiple symbolic emblems and subsidiary figures throughout, and one thangka depicting the Medicine Buddha seated in meditation within a mandorla, set against a landscape with clouds and floral motifs. Each painted in mineral pigments on cloth and mounted within brocade surrounds with silk ribbons and wooden dowels. {Approximate dimensions: Medicine Buddha image 17 x 11 3/4 inches; Body Tree image 39 x 15 1/2 inches}.
