Two Tibetan Painted Kalachakra Thangka Scrolls, 20th Century. Each depicting a multi-armed Kalachakra deity seated in meditation within a lotus base, surrounded by a circular mandorla and dense iconographic detailing, including attendant figures, floral motifs, and stylized landscape elements. Painted in mineral pigments on cloth and mounted within brocade surrounds with silk ribbons and wooden dowels. The brocade mountings differ in color and pattern, one predominantly in gold and brown tones, the other in blue and gold. {Approximate dimensions: left scroll height 24 1/2 inches x width 17 1/4 inches; right scroll height 21 5/8 inches x width 15 3/4 inches}.
