Two Chinese Off White Silk Shawls, square, one embroidered with a central medallion of peacock and roses within a band of flowers, and with flowers and foliage to corners; the other embroidered with scrolling foliage, wheat sprays, and flower to center. Both with band of mesh net over fringe. Circa 1900 -1920. 

{Approximate dimensions: 44" square, the first; 56" square with netting and fringe; 62" square, the second, 74" square with netting and fringe. 

The first with scattered light stains and pulled threds; the second with stains, pulled and loose threads, both with minor losses to threads and fringe.
