Two Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Platters. Rectangular with lobed and pointed form. Pink fishscale border, with stylized foliate motifs in each pointed corner, spearhead and banded design to cavetto well, the face painted with bold flowering peonies and moths. Late Qianlong Period. {Approximate dimensions: 1 1/2" H. x 16 1/2" W. x 14 1/2" D.}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Bonhams, May 18, 2015. Lot 1456. $2125. Condition: Both platters with repaired long chips, glued back, and with related hairlines. One repair now visible.
