Two Chinese Carved Jade Belt Buckles.
Consisting of two carved jade belt buckles of elongated form. One carved from pale celadon jade with areas of russet coloration, the upper surface carved in relief with a recumbent Qilong figure. The opposite end with a forked hook terminal, the underside with a rounded stud for attachment. The second buckle carved from mottled jade with warm brown and reddish tones, the upper surface decorated with openwork scrolling motifs and a stylized mythical creature. The underside similarly fitted with a rounded stud element for fastening. {Approximate dimensions: largest length 4 1/2 inches}
