Two Chiffon Flapper Dresses with Beaded Decoration. The first of pale green geometric silver bead bands, lined with same material, sleeveless, with drop waist. Voided cut out circles surrounded by bands of silver beads with drops, the lining and lower panel of front and back with wide band of silver beads. Circa 1925 - 1930. The second, of teal blue with silvered beads in rayed and foliate designs. Circa 1928 - 1932. {Approximate dimensions: 15 1/2" Shoulders, 36" Bust, 46" mid shoulders to hem, the green dress; i17" Shoulders, 38" Bust, 45" L., the teal dress.}.
Condition
The green dress with tears above detail at navel and to back at waist, due to the weight of panels of bugle beads, which is particularly substantial to the hem area. The blue dress with tear to shoulder area. Both with lost beads, loose threads.
