Black Chiffon, Silver Lame, Grid Beaded Flapper Dress, the shift straight to low waist, with plunging neckline, and with black chiffon inserts to sides; the front bodice with silver lame panel under pale pink chiffon band, the back with black silk bodice to lining. Beaded in silvered beads in grids, and with black dahlia band to waist. Circa 1930. {Approximate dimensions: 15" Shoulders, 36" Bust, 47" L.}.
The design probably inspired by architectural designs for skyscrapers.
Condition
Lining partly torn, losses to beads, a few short tears to chiffon.
