Set of Twelve Royal Doulton Bone China English Inn Dishes. Each painted in polychrome enamels by R. Brown with a different inn of historic and fictional note, within patterned and stenciled gilt lobed rims. Marked to undersides, green printed lion over ROYAL DOULTON and trademark, with serial numbers and other numbers HB 7864 over H. 1489. Retailed by The Bailey Banks and Biddle Co, Philadelphia, their stamp in puce to undersides of each. {Approximate dimensions: 10" Diameter.}.
Condition
Very good condition, very light surface wear and scratches. Minor patination to gilt rim. Very minor crazing to glaze.
