Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839–1892): Six Japanese Woodblock Prints from One Hundred Aspects of the Moon.
Group of six Japanese polychrome woodblock prints from the series Tsuki Hyakushi (One Hundred Aspects of the Moon) designed by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839–1892) and published by Akiyama Buemon (Kokkeidō). 

The prints include: “The Moon of the Lonely House” (Sōjō Henjō), “The Moon of the Milky Way” (Ginga no tsuki) – samurai on horseback, “The Moon of the Enemy’s Lair” (Tekiya no tsuki) – warrior attacking a demon, “The Moon and the Abandoned Old Woman” (Obasute-yama no tsuki), “The Moon of the Monkey’s Performance” (Sarugaku no tsuki) – monkey attacking a rabbit, “The Moon of Enlightenment” (Bodhidharma Meditating), Each with printed titles, artist signature Yoshitoshi ga, and publisher seals. {Approximate dimensions: 14 x 9 1/2 inches}
