Suite of American Classical Mahogany Klismos Dining Chairs. Comprising two armchairs and six side chairs. Carved flame mahogany frames with inlaid accent to backs, the arms terminating in large scrolls, blue velvet upholstered seats. 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: Armchair 32 3/4" high x 22 1/4" wide x 22 1/4" deep; side chair 32 1/2" high x 18" wide x 21" deep.}.
Condition
Overall wear is good considering age. Some surface wear and surface repairs. Armchairs with darker finish. Seats with some sagging, wear, and fading. Repaired cracks. Some seats loose, held by screws.
