American Late Federal Mahogany Double Pedestal Dining Table. Round top on double tripod pedestal base with turned supports, decorative bronze capped feet, each also with tilt-top mechanism; two leaves and two later support beams for extension are included. First half 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 28 1/2" high x 47 1/2" wide x 55" deep, each leaf adds 23 1/2".}.
Condition
Some surface wear and distress to finish throughout. Two filled in cracks to top. One foot with repair. Narrow crack to one support with repair. Previous insect damage visible to underside.
