Staffordshire Saltglaze Stoneware House Tea Caddy. Slip cast as a multi-storied house, with the British Royal Arms to front and back sides above the central door, two guards flank the door to one side only. Unmarked. Circa 1745- 1750. {Approximate dimensions: 5" H.}.
Condition
One side lightly incurvate, as made. Professional restoration to flange, overpainted. Firing cracks toward base. Minor surface wear and scratches. Irregular creases.
