Staffordshire Glazed Redware Teapot and Cover. The small scale globular body with simple loop handle and everted spout, with applied floral sprigs splashed in white. The low domed cover with onion knop to center. Staffordshire, England. Circa 1740-1750. {Approximate dimensions: 5" H. x 6 1/4" W. x 3 3/8" D.}.
Condition
Old professional repair to tip of spout. Rough edges to flange of cover and to footrim, as manufactured. Scattered grit, under glaze.
