Palissy Style Majolica Model of a Fish, of large scale, modelled with two lizards, life size frogs, snakes, and a moth, as well as a snake wrapped around its eye, painted in soft blues, greens, browns, ochers, and pink red to mouth interior. Probably originally attached to an oval dish. Unmarked.

Very good condition, minor surface wear and scratches. Several screw holes to base, underside. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
