Pair of Renaissance Revival High Back Throne Chairs, of solid painted and stained oak, with stylized palmettes to upper backs, and orange red velour upholstery. Circa 1920.

Signs of wear and use include chips and nicks, abrasions, scratches, slight gaps to some seams. A few hairline cracks, one of about 4 7/8” long primarily to side of frame trim with 1” wrapping to front. Exposed wood to front leg interiors and to base of one chair with losses to decorative stepped trim. Upholstery with scratches, pile losses most noticeable to one seat, some discoloration, fabric overlayment to backs with tears and holes.
