Pair of Japanese Yokohama Satsuma Vases. Each vase finely painted with elegant figures amid cherry blossoms and village structures beside a riverbank, executed in soft enamels with extensive gilt detailing. The shoulders and borders feature dense gilt brocade designs typical of Yokohama-export Satsuma ware. Both bases bear a red ‘Kutani Kaga’ mark. {Height 12 inches}
