Chinese Oxblood Glazed Porcelain Meiping Vase. The vase is of classic meiping form with rounded shoulders tapering to a narrow neck, covered overall in a deep oxblood glaze pooling darker toward the foot. The base bears a apocryphal six-character mark applied in iron red. {Approximate dimensions: height 14 5/8 inches x width 7 1/2 inches}.
