Ottoman Empire Yataghan Damascus Steel Sword. The Damascus steel blade with fluted fullers, one terminating in cartouche, engraved silver metal guard, the repousse grip with scrolling floral and foliate motif, looks to be silver-plated with small patches of yellow metal showing through. Unmarked. 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 32" long.}.
Condition
Blade with small rust spots. Some wear throughout, evidence of sharpening.
