Neoclassical Carved Alabaster Jardiniere on Stand. Baluster form urn carved with two figures terminating in scrolls, modelled in high relief, holding swagged garlands of fruit and flowers, over two horned masks, under the foliate carved, everted rim. Waisted base carved with band of acanthus, over flaring rim, above squared, low base. {Approximate dimensions: 41 1/2" H. x 25" Diameter.}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Condition: Good to very good condition. Light staining toward top of jardiniere urn, heavier toward base of the lower section. Minor chips, dirt.
