Italian Majolica Della Robbia Planter, the cylindrical body modelled in Renaissance style with bas relief figures of putti holding hands and forming a ring, with a garland of flowers joining the figures. Enamelled in typical shades of white, blue, green, manganese, yellow and orange. In green enamel to interior well, numbered 445. Mid 20th Century. {Approximate dimensions: 8 3/4" H. x 12 1/4" Diameter.}.
Condition
Condition: 2" Chip to footrim, as fired and overglazed, in manufacture. Another 2" chip to footrim. Some flaking to enamels to upper rim. Surface wear, scratches.
