Longton Hall Porcelain Black Transfer Printed Tankard, lightly flaring cylindrical body with C shaped handle, with thumb and finger rests. Transfer printed in black enamel with an elaborate shield with motto OMNIA VINCIT ASSIDITUAS. Circa 1760.
{Approximate dimensions: 5 1/4" H. x 5" W. including handle, 3 1/2" Diameter at base}.
Condition
Firing crack to underside, base. 3" long. Nick to mouth, right of handle. Frit and some pitting to interior of mouth. and additional black dots, frit, pitting to foot.
