Lisa Danielle (American, born 1958), "Rangeland Rhapsody," oil on board. Signed lower right. Named, titled, and artist's date on plaque recto. Named and titled inscribed verso. Tag included on hanging wire. [Approximate dimensions - sight: 19 1/4" H x 29 3/8" W]. Celebrated Western artist Danielle, California-born and now residing in Arizona, has painted intimate ‘portraits’ of life in the historic Old West for over 30 years. Her subjects, created by other hands in a different time, enchant us with their beauty. Lisa says, “My paintings' design connects the viewer to what other hands created in beauty … decades ago. Here, the old cowhand from a Saturday Evening Post cover reminisces to a sentimental melody of the Victrola. All the gear he's owned has come out of the trunk, as the music sparks nostalgic dreams of starry campfire serenades and long dusty trails, with only his horse and fiddle for companions.
Surface dust. Frame abrasion at low center (behind frame) and at lower left area. No visible inpaint under UV/black light. Framed: 39" H x 38 3/4" W.
