Large Chinese Turquoise-Ground Enameled Porcelain Fish Bowl. Of broad, tapering cylindrical form with a slightly flared rim, the exterior enamelled on a turquoise ground with continuous scenes of flowering branches, peonies, and birds perched on rockwork, rendered in vivid polychrome enamels. The rim decorated with a floral band, the interior painted with a central goldfish swimming among aquatic plants. The base unglazed with iron red marks, and set on a fitted stand.{Approximate dimensions: diameter 21 1/4 inches x height 18 3/4 inches}.

Enamel surfaces show light surface wear and scattered minor scratches.
