Italian Renaissance Revival Oak Bookcase, back crest over stepped design, carved with dolphins, dog and lion head masks, scrolling foliage and flowerheads, and the front pilasters carved with griffins, satyrs, serpents, and human figures. Center crest carved 1641. Circa 1885 - 1900.

Good condition overall. Some wear throughout, including chips, scratches, losses to wood and finish, primarily at edges and tips, some with professional repair including restaining.  Right hand seraph figure with 8 1/2" vertical crack to side.  Piece of 13 1/2" carved trim detached, available. Reverse with four holes, one partly detached board. Surface wear, scratches, etc..
