Indonesian Balato Sword with Sheath. The sword with shaped blade, the hilt with brass mount and figural carved wood pommel; the wood sheath with copper banding, mounted with ball of boar tusks and speckled cowrie shell. {Approximate dimensions while sheathed: 26 1/2" long.}.
Condition
Wear and weathering throughout. Some later wire to sheath. Minor rust at base of blade. Carved wood with minor chip loss. Some copper bands to sheath missing.
