Indonesian Balato Sword With Sheath. The wood sheath with numerous brass bands, the sword with shaped blade, ring incised brass guard, and figural carved wood hilt and pommel. {Approximate dimensions including sheath: 26 1/8" long.}.
Condition
Wear and weathering throughout. Brass bands loose. Later round wood block affixed to sheath base. Rust to blade, patina to metal. Some wear and minor chips to pommel.
