Gustave Beer Couture Silk Chiffon and Velvet Evening Dress, the straight silhouette softened by layered chiffon flounces from the straight front, the flounces shorter in front and on a diagonal toward the back; the high waistband issuing two pleated diagonal skirted panels of soft pale purple velveteen, vanishing to the pointed back hem. Embroidered, beaded front, back, and hems of flounces. Satin waistband embroidered "Beer Nice Monte Carlo / 7, Place Vendome, Paris." {Approximate dimensions: 16" shoulders, 35" bust, 29" waist, 58" length.}.
Condition
Chiffon front with tear to one section, with overlaid net restoration in one section. Some loose threads, lost beads.
