Group of Chinese Jade, Jadeite, and Hardstone Carvings.
The group comprising various carved jade, jadeite, and hardstone objects of differing forms and tones, including a lotus seed with three attached leaves and a fruit borne on a branch, finely worked to suggest naturalistic detail. Also included is a pendant in the form of a standing tongzi suspended from a braided cord, a white jade recumbent tongzi, and a bat-form carving, each rendered with smooth contours and subtle polish. The stones display a range of colors from pale celadon to deeper green and russet hues, with natural inclusions enhancing their visual character. Additional small carvings and ornaments complete the assemblage, reflecting traditional symbolic motifs and decorative craftsmanship.
