George III Mahogany Secretary. Double glazed door top section; slant front opens to reveal gilt tooled green leather writing surface, small drawers and niches; over four graduated long drawers; bracket feet; brass hardware. Late 18th century. {Approximate dimensions: 85 1/2" high x 50 5/8" wide x 21 1/4" deep.}.
Condition
Overall condition is very good considering age. Restoration, repairs, refinished. Crack near hinge on cabinet door needs repair. Crack to drawer front. Loss to two pieces of drawer trim moulding. Patina to brass hardware.
