French Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Buffet a Deux Corps,  arched crest carved with male and female youths nude in repose, with portrait plaque to center, over top case piece with masks, and high relief female figures of paintress and sculptress flanking two blind doors carved with paired figures of four muses under masked jesters and dragon heads in foliate scrolls,  the lower case piece with two shallow drawers over two blind doors, similarly carved in high relief with two female and one male figures in high relief, and the door panels carved with two female busts with fruit emblematic of plenty, surrounded by scrollwork. Circa 1880 - 1890.

Wear includes some nicks, scratches, small chips, hairline cracks primarily to crown and several figures, rubbing at drawer pulls. Standing figure above buffet with horizontal 7 1/2" crack to base trim, male figure on lower door with repair to leg, lower door corner with chip, later hardware. Some shrinkage/gaps, most noticeable to crown corner seam, crown side with tape.  Several holes to back of upper cupboard for wiring.
