Framed Correspondence Between Franklin D and Eleanor Roosevelt and John F House; including an unsigned letter from Mr House to FDR and an unsigned letter from Mr House to the New York Times, along with two letters from FDR to Mr. House on paper with NY State official letterhead and signed "Franklin D Roosevelt", all from 1932; along with a letter from Mr House to Eleanor and two letters from Eleanor to Mr House, both signed "Eleanor Roosevelt", dating 1940 and 1943; [approx. dimensions - sight: 9 3/4" H x 7 1/4" W (largest); frame: 28" H x 21 1/2" W (larger)].
Condition
Overall good condition; fold lines to all letters; a few apparent foxing spots to letter to FDR from Mr House, minor crease marks and burn around edges to Eleanor's letters to Mr House; several small losses to the letter to Eleanor; dust and small debris to frame interiors; letters behind glass; considerable wear to frames; not examined out of the frames.
