Copeland Spode Bone China Leaf Service, comprising twelve dessert plates and two oval or rectangular, two handled service dishes, the faces molded in low relief with overlapping veined leaves, and with gilt faux branch edges picked out in black enamel. The handles of the serving dishes designed as faux branches. Painted in shades of yellowy green to darker green, black and gold enamel. Printed marks in deep green, crown, foliate wreath surrounding COPELAND AND GARRETT and iron red pattern number 6563 over 2, and impressed to base undersides, COPELAND AND GARETT around NEW FAYENCE to center of mark. Circa 1835 - 1840.
