Collection of Japanese Arita Porcelain Tablewares.
The collection comprising eighteen Japanese porcelain tablewares decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze enamel with gilt accents. The group arranged in three matching designs, each consisting of six pieces. The largest plates decorated with landscape scenes including pavilions, cranes, trees, and mountains rendered in polychrome enamels with iron-red and turquoise tones. Additional pieces include smaller plates and cups decorated with related motifs and ornamental borders. The rims with patterned borders and gilded highlights characteristic of Arita porcelain wares. {Approximate dimensions: largest diameter 8 3/8 inches}
